Summer holidays this year is shorter now that I’m no longer schooling. Two months of holidays are coming to an end for me in another two days where work will officially start for me. It has been a great two months spent relaxing, studying for CFA, catching up with friends, spending time with family and making plans for the next stage of life.

Here’s what had been going on…

Fortnight Brunches, at Jones the Grocer, 11 Jun.

Again, at Prive Bakery & Cafe at Marina at Keppel Bay, 25 Jun.

Caught up with Shuang and Mei Theng from BSM. It has been more than a year we’ve last met!

And of cos, with my BFF for weekly shopping/chill out session..

I’m not a very Longchamp person, cos I can’t stand having every other person on the street carrying the same thing as I do. Yet I believe every brand does some really good stuff from time to time. Just like this long handle Planetes in red. Its definitely the perfect accessory for any boring outfit day at work.

Also, ain’t this Rickshaw tote just cute? Its gonna look great for a casual day out with your date!

Although I’m not one who wears purple, I’m in love with this new Darshan, India-inspired collection by LongChamp after seeing it on April’s issue of Female & NUyou mags. Should I, should I?

Lately, I’ve signed myself up for a good Saturday morning cause with YEP’s Community Service Marathon. Since two weeks ago, I’ve been working with kids from lower income backgrounds and I’m loving the experience. Apart from the center being a tat too far, I really don’t mind volunteering there long term. For now, I’ve given myself a one to two month trial to see if I can really go that distance, literally.

Can’t imagine Wendy as a kid’s person? But I am! I enjoy teaching and working with these little ones cos’ I know I can play a part in shaping their lives and giving them light into a better lifestyle in time to come.

施比受更有福！I hope I can manage my time well when I settle with a job to give more back to the society!

Last Saturday, BFF and I met up for a chill out/shopping/catch up/bff day of the week session at Orchard Rd. We had a good time snacking, shopping and talking about just anything under the sun.

It has been sometime since the two of us camwhore like never before, and it was fun!

There were these people from Noise I suppose (actually I’m not too sure) who were doing cosplays along Orchard Rd. BFF and I decided to join them.

Watch that slouchy spidey!

Later in the night, we met Jeff and Kyle for dinner at TCC International Building. I’ve always wanted to try this TCC outlet and man, I wished I’d been here earlier. It was so awesome. As usual, TCC served really good food, but what I really like about this outlet is the ambiance and deco, really splendid for camwhoring! Haha.

I had the Crispy Oyster and Shimeiji Spaghetti which was really really really yummy! I heart the pasta sauce lots! The oyster was very fresh too!
